I'm Daniella, a Central Florida wedding photographer based in DeLand with over twenty years of experience in weddings and events. I want the process of working together to feel less like hiring a vendor and more like finding your person. Here's exactly what happens from your first message to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox.

FROM VENDORS WHO HAVE BEEN THERE

"Daniella is the kind of professional the wedding industry needs more of. She leads by example, not only through her incredible photography but also through the high standards she sets for everyone she works with. If every vendor held themselves to the level of professionalism Daniella does, couples would have nothing to worry about on their big day."

STEP 01

HOW TO REQUEST PRICING

You've found your way here, which means you've already done the hard part. The next step is hitting that contact button and filling out the inquiry form so I can learn a little about you, your date, and your vision. From there I'll send over my full wedding guide with pricing, packages, and everything you need to know about working together. Take your time looking it over, and when you're ready we'll schedule a call to answer any questions. Our two most booked packages are the one- hour elopement at $795, and our eight-hour wedding, which includes two photographers, at $4,795.

STEP 02

HOW TO SECURE YOUR WEDDING DATE

Once you're ready to move forward, booking is simple. You'll return to the wedding guide, select your package, sign your contract, and pay your deposit to lock in your wedding date. That's it! Your wedding date is secured and we can start the fun part!

STEP 03

BOOKING YOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Your engagement session is one of my favorite parts of the whole process, and not just because it gives us gorgeous photos. It's really about getting comfortable together before your wedding day. We'll pick a time and location that fits your vision, spend an hour being ourselves, and by the end you'll know exactly what it feels like to be in front of my camera. No stiff poses, no awkward silences. Just two people and a photographer who genuinely wants to get to know you.

STEP 04

HOW TO BUILD YOUR WEDDING DAY TIMELINE

About a month before your wedding I'll send you a detailed questionnaire covering everything I need to know: your vendors, your must-have moments, family dynamics, and any accessibility needs or accommodations I should be aware of before I show up. One to two weeks out we'll jump on a call to go over everything together.

Your timeline is a team effort. Your planner, DJ, venue, and other vendors all have load-in times, rules, and needs that shape how the day flows, and I work alongside all of them to make sure we're on the same page. My role is to come to that conversation as your photographer's advocate, flagging moments that need more breathing room, recommending buffer time where it makes sense, and helping you understand what's realistic so you can go into your wedding day with clear expectations and zero surprises.

STEP 05

WHAT HAPPENS ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

This is the part where all the planning gets to disappear into the background and you just get to be there. I'll arrive ready, stay present, and spend the day by your side doing a lot more than just taking photos.

I'll keep an eye on the timeline so you don't have to, help keep things rolling when the day starts to drift, and step in as your advocate when you need a minute alone and someone has to politely make that happen. I'm your right hand person from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave, equal parts photographer and hype person and the one making sure you are actually having fun while all of this is going on around you. I catch everything in between. It's kind of my whole thing.

STEP 06

WHEN WILL YOU RECEIVE YOUR WEDDING PHOTOS?

Your full wedding gallery will be delivered four to eight weeks after your wedding date, depending on the season. When your gallery arrives, it will be waiting in a private online gallery with your full-resolution post-processed images, print shop access, and everything you need to relive the day and share it with the people you love.

FAQ

How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?

Most couples book their photographer six to twelve months in advance, and popular dates, especially in the fall and around holidays, can fill up a year or more out. If you have a date in mind, the best thing you can do is reach out early, even if you are still in the early planning stages.

What is your backup plan if you have an emergency on my wedding day?

Most of my wedding packages already include a second photographer who works alongside me regularly, knows my prompts, my poses, and how I run a wedding day from start to finish. If something unexpected happened to me, you would already have someone there who operates exactly the way I do.

Beyond that, as a board member of both PPCF locally and FPP statewide, which means I have connections throughout the professional photography community here in Florida. I have a trusted network of colleagues I can call on if I ever need backup. In twenty years, it has never come to that, but I believe you deserve to know the answer before you book.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

As Ross from Friends would say, "PIVOT!" Florida weather is Florida weather, and after twenty years of shooting here, I have yet to let rain ruin a gallery. We adapt, we find beautiful light in unexpected places, and sometimes the rain becomes the best photos of the day. We will talk through contingency options during your timeline call so nobody is caught off guard.

When should we plan our engagement session?

If you are planning to use your engagement images for save the dates, invitations, or wedding decor, make sure we shoot at least a month before you need to place any orders. Galleries turn around in one to two weeks but you want breathing room for printing and shipping.

Most of my weekends are reserved for weddings, so engagement sessions typically happen on weekdays. Plan for about two hours before sunset for your session time. That light is worth it, I promise.

CLIENT CONFESSIONS

"Daniella was honestly a dream come true. I was really worried about finding someone who gets the non-traditional vibe of a wedding ceremony we wanted, and boy did she overdeliver! One of the things I loved most about working with Daniella is that when it came to taking photos of our vows and ceremony, I didn't even notice she existed! This helped get the most gorgeous candid shots where we got to actually be us. Her eye for the best angles is impeccable, and we are so pleased with our gallery to keep forever. I highly recommend Daniella to anyone who is an alt/emo bride and is doing an elopement, wedding, or something in between."

CLIENT CONFESSIONS

"If you're looking for a photographer who will make you laugh until your face hurts, expertly direct two people who have no idea what to do with their hands, and then casually risk life and limb for the shot... hire Daniella. She somehow managed to be equal parts hype woman, comedian, creative director, and ninja all day long. Daniella had us laughing through every portrait, gave incredibly natural direction, and made two awkward humans (and our dog) look like we belonged in a wedding magazine. We truly felt like she cared just as much about our wedding as we did. We couldn't imagine our day without Daniella: 10/10, would let this woman boss me around in public again."

CLIENT CONFESSIONS

"Our wedding was planned in a few months. It was a non traditional 150 guest backyard DIY celebration…on Halloween. Things were crazy. I put a lot of effort into finding a photographer who I trusted to jump into an insane situation like mine. I'm so glad I found Daniella. She's so very skilled in her craft and her personality is the cherry on top. We wanted someone alternative and queer friendly and we found that with Daniella. She had a portfolio of work that we absolutely adored, a price that fit our budget, and she was willing to work with our crazy timeline. I can 100% confidently say that Daniella was the absolute best choice and I will recommend her to everyone I can."

"Daniella was my wedding photographer, and I am so happy that I chose her! She made us feel EXTREMELY comfortable, and she brought out the best in all of us. She has been a consummate professional throughout the entire experience, from first contact until I received the photos. Speaking of the photos, they came out absolutely gorgeous and beyond my expectations. She knows her angles, the best shots, and how to get candid joy in photos!!!"
